Dr. Jack Reinhardt was a scientist with a vision of green, lush grass that was easier to care for and more resistant to insects and disease. These studies, reports and research were the culmination of his doctoral work in Plant Pathology (the study of plant disease). Dr. Jack had done countless hours of research and had run hundreds of tests on pesticides for different manufacturers. Finally he had the results he sought. Using a scientific approach, a committed and brilliant scientist with a heated passion and an unfailing desire, made a discovery that created a legacy that helps thousands of people have greener, thicker and heartier lawns. That happened more than thirty years ago and Dr. Jack's, the company, was born.
