The Key to Hyper Growth and Gorgeous Landscape Greenery is Just Minutes Away
Dr. Jack's Ornamental Service
Living in the environment that we do provides us not only with excellent weather conditions, but also allows us to fill our landscapes with a wide range of exotic and temperate plant materials.
Our ornamental service program is designed to provide proper care for the widest possible spectrum of available plant material.
The details below outline our general procedures but can be amended to include any special conditions found to be necessary by our horticulturist.
Our ornamental plant services include fertilization — unless a pest problem exists and treatments for control are needed.
If a pest problem becomes evident, then we'll apply pest treatments whenever needed at no additional costs.
Using IPM (Integrated Pest Management) principles eliminates unnecessary pesticide exposure to the environment, reduces the chances of controlling beneficial predators, allows us to treat only the plants involved and gives us the opportunity to select the best control method available for each particular pest.
Most of the landscape plant materials in our area that have been used in proper landscape settings require very little pest control.
In addition, most plants can tolerate some pest activity without damage and the relatively few controllable pests that can actually kill plants generally do so over a long period of time.
This provides us with plenty of time to notice and apply any necessary pest control required. Call us anytime you notice a problem with any of your plant material.
There are no additional charges for pest treatments and/or inspections needed in-between the regularly scheduled service visits.
