Seasonal Alert:
March-June
Brown spots in your lawn this time of year are usually caused from
drought. Irrigation systems need to be checked for proper operation
and repaired as needed.
Brown areas that don’t recover within
a few days once water is properly applied may need to be resodded.
Irrigation may be applied 2 times per week. Make sure that you are
irrigating with ½ to ¾ of an inch of water in each
area of your lawn.
Dry areas of your lawn will encourage chinch bugs to
feed. You may also need to apply an insecticide if chinch bugs
are found.
